Streams is the free mod. It runs inside Claude Code on your computer and sends nothing to us. Streams Remote, the paid service, connects your computer to your phone and tablet.
What Streams Remote keeps
- Your account: the email address you signed in with, or your GitHub login and the verified email GitHub gives us.
- The tokens your sessions use to connect, so you can revoke them.
- The names, roles and end dates of your phones and of the people you share with, and the folder name (never the path) of each project you share, as your computer reports them, so you can manage them on your account page.
- Your devices' push subscriptions, if you turn notifications on, so your sessions can notify them.
- Sealed messages on their way between your computer and your devices, for at most 2 minutes.
- Your plan and billing status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
What it never sees
Your computer seals everything it sends to your devices, and your devices seal what they send back, with keys that never leave them. The service passes those sealed messages along and cannot open them: not your code, your prompts, Claude's replies, or the photos and files you send.
Who else is involved
Cloudflare runs the service and sees the IP addresses that connect to it. Resend sends sign-in emails. GitHub signs you in if you choose it. Stripe takes payments.
The phone app is served by the service itself, so using it means trusting what we serve, as with any web app.
Deleting your account
Delete it any time at streams.macleodlabs.com/account/delete, or with /streams delete-account in Claude Code. Your plan ends at once and every computer and device is signed out. The account is then kept, archived, for 90 days, so we can answer questions about it, and deleted for good after that, with your Stripe customer record. Stripe keeps invoices as the law requires. Rooms nobody has used for 30 days are emptied.
